How to book

Please let me know before class if you have an injury or health condition e.g. blood pressure issues, heart problems, bad knees, replacement joints etc.
Women please note that some positions are contra-indicated during menstruation and pregnancy.
Time keeping
Please be on time for class as this shows respect for others who may be disturbed by late arrivals.Try to arrive at least 5 minutes before class is due to start. Late students may not be admitted if class has begun.
Clothing
Loose clothing such as track suit bottoms and T shirts which allow freedom of movement. Please avoid jeans or belts. Yoga is practiced in bare feet – please note shoes are not allowed upstairs or in the studio itself - shoe racks are in place at the bottom of the stairs. This will ensure the centre remains a clean, clear and special space, thank you for your co-operation.There are male and female changing facilities available.
Food
Try not to eat for at least 2 hours before class – if you are very hungry try something easily digestible e.g. a banana, a yoghurt, a drink of milk.Equipment
All necessary equipment is provided but it is recommended that, in the long term it’s better to have your own ‘stuff’…. it’s more personal and just nicer!Ask me for recommendations – there are different mats etc. for different needs.
I have been attending Sheila’s Yoga classes since January 2003 and have found them to be invaluable. In my opinion, she provides a type of Yoga experience that cannot be found anywhere else locally. I look forward to attending classes in her new studio.
